Hancock-Clarke House

The Hancock-Clarke House is the third oldest house museum in the country.
Paul Revere alerted Sam Adams and John Hancock here of the Regulars approach in 1775.  The house had some serious structural and preservation issues in 2006.  Rykerson Architecture was employed to lead an Historic Structure Report, restore, provide handicapped access, install new systems, and design a larger program area.  The resultant project received the annual award from the Massachusetts Historical Commission.
